This one isn't going to be a story post. Over the course of multiple hours stretched between two days, Michelle and I have deleted the premade house I'd installed on the lot, and we have put in a new one we built ourselves. Now when I say we built, really, she built the house itself. I did the deco to turn it into a home. She also doubles as the landscaper. Here are several pictures, starting with the house this was inspired by.
Alright, so this one was our inspiration, from dreamhomesource.com. It's called English Cottage. We particularly liked the tower room in the center.
Here's the finished house in game. Sorry for the darkness of the picture. It's raining. We added a fountain in the front to fill up the empty paved area. Went for a two car garage instead of three due to the way the game spaces doors.

Yes, the wardrobe is a magic portal. Yes, it does in fact go to Narnia. I'm uploading the house onto the exchange. Link to download:

THAT is a hell of a dwelling.
ReplyDeleteSeems fine enough, but as said before.. *insert lamentation about americaness of it* do like the filled out feel in the rooms.
