As a punishment for having plotted against the throne of Asgard one too many times, Loki has been diminished, made human and exiled to live among the mortals he has seen as nothing more than insignificant his entire life. As one of them, the former god of mischief must now begin his plots anew, balancing the most of his new existence with his desire to reclaim the power he has now lost.
He has found himself on a patch of land on the outskirts of a small city on the coast of somewhere, named Starlight Shores. The town itself seems filled to the brink with hipsters, posers and artists waiting to make it big. Abandoned, alone, and not even with a house to sleep in, despair is the first thing that sinks in. Some idiot in a llama costume comes by with a bucket of junk promoting the nearby university. After the strange mortal has gone, Loki learns that perhaps not all hope is lost, as something strange appears on his neatly trimmed grass.
Intrigued, he takes his first steps in learning what the ripples of one man's choices echo in the halls of time.
